1. What Information We Collect

We collect information you provide, including your email address, display name, password or social-login credentials handled by our authentication provider, voice goals and target settings, custom coach instructions, support messages, and subscription status.

When you record or upload audio, we process and may store:

Voice recordings and derived measurements may be considered sensitive or biometric information in some jurisdictions. VoiceIQ uses them for voice analysis and coaching, not to identify or authenticate you.

We also collect technical and usage information such as IP address, browser and device type, referring page, page views, feature events, timestamps, and diagnostic or security logs. We do not request precise GPS location.

If you sign in with Google, Google provides the basic account information needed to authenticate you, such as your email address and profile name. If you subscribe, Stripe provides subscription and transaction identifiers and status. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to authenticate you; analyze recordings; save, replay, compare, and export your results; personalize goals and coaching; operate subscriptions; secure and troubleshoot the Services; respond to support requests; understand product usage; comply with law; and enforce our terms.

3. Legal Bases

Where a legal basis is required, we rely on performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Services, your consent where required for voice or analytics processing, and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent where consent is the basis, but this does not affect earlier processing.

4. When We Share Information

We do not sell personal information or make recordings public. We share information only with service providers that help operate the Services, when you direct us to, in a business transfer, or when required to protect rights, safety, or comply with law.

Our main service providers are:

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use browser storage needed to keep you signed in and remember preferences. Google Analytics uses cookies or similar identifiers to measure visits and product interactions. Browser controls may block these technologies, though required storage is necessary for sign-in and some settings.

6. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Analysis

VoiceIQ uses automated signal processing, speech recognition, and AI-assisted coaching. Measurements and scores are estimates, not identity checks, medical diagnoses, or guarantees about how any person will perceive a voice. VoiceGPT uses the summaries supplied with each request and may produce inaccurate advice. Raw audio is not sent to OpenAI through VoiceGPT.

7. Social Login

If you use Google sign-in, we receive the information authorized through that login flow and use it to create and authenticate your VoiceIQ account. Google's own privacy practices apply to information it processes.

8. How Long We Keep Information

Saved recordings, analysis data, reports, account settings, and coaching conversations remain until you delete them or delete your account, unless we must retain information for legal, security, or dispute-resolution reasons. Analysis rows that never become a saved recording are scheduled for deletion after 24 hours.

Deleting a recording removes its stored audio before removing its database row. Deleting all recordings also sweeps audio in your private storage folder. Account deletion stops and asks you to retry if all stored audio cannot be removed. Deleted database information may remain temporarily in protected backups for the backup period configured for our Supabase plan; storage objects are deleted separately and are not part of database backups.

Provider retention can differ from VoiceIQ storage. Modal may retain asynchronous function inputs and outputs for up to seven days. OpenAI may retain API abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days unless different controls apply. Security, billing, and analytics records follow the applicable provider settings and legal requirements.

9. Security

Recordings are stored in a private bucket and database access is restricted to the signed-in account. The browser does not receive the full internal analysis response during normal app use. Network requests use encrypted transport. No system can guarantee absolute security, so please use a strong, unique password and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

10. Children

The Services are not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so we can review and remove it as appropriate.

11. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a portable copy of personal information, object to certain processing, withdraw consent, or appeal a decision. You may also complain to a local data-protection authority. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

12. Do-Not-Track and Analytics Choices

There is no uniform industry standard for browser Do Not Track signals, so we do not currently respond to them as a separate control. You can use browser privacy settings, cookie controls, or content blockers to limit nonessential analytics.

13. United States Privacy Rights

Residents of certain U.S. states may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information and to opt out of certain sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling. VoiceIQ does not sell personal information. Submit a request by emailing support@voiceiqlabs.com; authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law.

14. International Processing

VoiceIQ and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or legal safeguards for cross-border transfers.

15. Changes and Contact

We may update this notice as the Services or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version. Material changes may also be communicated in the Services.

16. Review, Export, and Deletion Controls

In the app, you can rename or delete individual recordings, export a CSV summary, download recording audio, delete all recordings, edit account information, delete coaching conversations, and delete your account. Account deletion removes your account rows and stored recording audio after cleanup is confirmed.

For a broader access, correction, portability, or deletion request, email support@voiceiqlabs.com. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.
