What the resonance detector reads
Resonance is the pattern of sound shaped by your vocal tract as you speak. This detector looks at vowel-rich parts of your recording and returns a normalized score. It does not tell you whether your voice is “right,” or reduce a whole voice to one sound quality.
How to influence resonance
Resonance shifts as your tongue, lips, jaw, and vowels change the shape of your vocal tract. Try a relaxed hum into a comfortable vowel, then carry that ease into a short phrase. Compare the same phrase at the same volume to hear which changes are repeatable.
